Learning Disabilities cannot be cured, but it can be treated successfully. Children with Learning Disabilities can go on to live happy and successful lives. We at DPRC give example of Juhi Khound who had Learning Disabilities and weakness in both her hands. Conducting activities of daily life was difficult for her. It worried her parents about her future as she was dependent on them. In 2013, Juhi came to DPRC for therapy and received Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Special Education for a period of 3 years. During her time in DPRC, she was actively involved in functions and various programmes. Juhi’s communication and activities of daily life skills improved along with her social skills. Her treatment in DPRC is a complete success. In 2016, Juhi got married, and is the mother of a beautiful son. Today, Juhi is living a happy and content life.
