ANCHAL which is a non Governmental Organization duly registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860, bearing Registration No. KAM(M)/263/E/357 of 2013-14 was formed on 18th September, 2013 at its registered office at Rajgarh, Guwahati. In line with our commitment to enhance the quality of life of the physically challenged and the vulnerable sections of the society and in helping them to actively participate in the overall growth of the society, we have been regularly organizing health camps which apart from creating awareness also focuses on information dissemination. Health awareness sessions involving children and youth in programs like rallies, debates and camps are widely canvassed by our NGO. These sessions and camps are organized in coordination with our center’s namely, DPRC and DCRS which works in the field of Rehabilitation of the physically and mentally challenged children and persons. Through these activities, our NGO ensures that such program reaches maximum number of people. We are equally focused in promoting the various art and culture of our region. We also strive in creating awareness for conservation of forest, environment, ecology and bio-diversity by conducting workshops, seminars, camps, exhibitions, workshops etc. We are also working in the promotion of sports, physical fitness and yoga amongst the youth of region in a quest to build a healthy nation. We aim to generate awareness and empower a generation of young people to take effective action to reduce the risk of climate change. Through these activities, our NGO ensures that such program reaches maximum number of people.
